Thirteenth Annual Meeting of the RNA Society

Berlin skylines

Welcome

The 13th annual meeting of the RNA Society will take place in the fascinating city of Berlin on the Free University campus from
Monday, July 28th through Sunday, August 3rd, 2008.
The meeting is open to all whose work touches on the field of RNA research. The RNA Society is a multidisciplinary society, and includes all aspects of molecular, evolutionary and structural biology, biochemistry, chemistry, biomedical sciences, genetics, and virology that involve the structure and function of RNA and ribonucleoprotein assemblies.

This year the meeting will begin on Monday evening (July 28th) with a special session on microRNA with three invited talks by

Dr. David Baulcombe
Dr. Phil Sharp
Dr. Tom Tuschl

All other sessions and workshops will begin with an overview of the session topic, followed by short oral presentations. Abstracts for oral presentations will be selected by the Organizing Committee and the Session Coordinators. Abstracts that are not selected for oral presentations will be presented as posters. RNA2008 has sufficient room so that all posters can remain mounted throughout the entire meeting.

The deadline for submission of abstracts and registration was Monday, March 24, 2008.

The maximum number of participants has been reached and the online registration has been closed.

Please feel free to download the RNA 2008 poster.
